The age limit varies depending on the post.

For Junior Engineer and Superintendent posts, maximum age is 34 years and for Administrative Assistant, maximum age is 27 years.
Who gets relaxation?
PwBD candidates and Ex-Servicemen gets age relaxation as per rules and for other categories, age relaxation as per rules is available only if vacancy is reserved for that particular category.

The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid separately for each post you apply for.

Fee Details

Group B posts (Junior Engineer, Superintendent): ₹300 per post

Group C posts (Administrative Assistant): ₹200 per post

The following categories are fully exempt from paying any application fee:

■ Salary Details

The salary for the above posts is based on the 7th Pay Commission scale. The posts of Junior Engineer and Nursing Superintendent are at Pay Level 6, while the post of Administrative Assistant is at Pay Level 4.

■ The Selection Mechanism - Stages From Shortlisting to Appointment

Once the application window closes on 19 April 2026, IIT Goa will begin screening applications based on the prescribed eligibility criteria.

Junior Engineer (Civil) - Expected Topics:

Structural Analysis and Design (RCC and Steel), Building Materials and Construction Technology, Geotechnical Engineering, Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics, Surveying and Levelling, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Estimation and Costing, Valuation, and relevant Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) codes. Emphasis should be placed on numerical problem-solving, as IIT-level exams generally focus more on application than rote learning.

Superintendent (Nursing) - Expected Topics:

Fundamentals of Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Pediatric and Obstetric Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Nursing Administration and Management, Emergency and Critical Care protocols, Infection Control measures, and Ethics and Legal Aspects of Nursing Practice.

Make sure your experience certificates are properly organized, from your first job to your latest. Only post-qualification experience (after diploma/degree) will be considered.

Superintendent (Nursing)

Carefully verify that all hospitals you’ve worked in are:

Recognized by the Central/State Nursing Council (for diploma holders), or

Registered hospitals (for degree holders)

If any hospital is no longer operational or has lost recognition, keep proof that it was valid during your employment period. Do not assume this will be verified automatically.

Administrative Assistant

Since eligibility is broad (any bachelor’s degree), shortlisting may depend heavily on academic performance.
