Selection Process
The recruitment process for RBI Assistant consists of three stages:

If we compare 2022 and 2023 data, the increase in cut-off is clearly visible across all categories.
The rise is highest in UR, OBC, and EWS, where the jump is around 6–7 marks.
For SC and ST categories, the increase is smaller but still noticeable.
This shows that competition is increasing consistently, not just for one category but for all.
Safe Score Strategy (Based on Real Trend)
If we go strictly by the 2023 trend, clearing the cut-off alone is not enough anymore.
For the General category, anything around the cut-off range (91-96) is risky. A safer position would be scoring around 95 or above, where your chances become more stable.
For OBC and EWS candidates, the competition is now very close to General. A score in the range of 92+ should be considered a safe zone rather than aiming near last year’s cut-off.
For SC candidates, while the cut-off is comparatively lower, the margin is still tight. A score of around 85+ gives a safer cushion.
For ST candidates, the cut-off remains lower, but instability can happen depending on the region. Targeting 80+ keeps you on the safer side.
